okay you said "You can use the backup utility in Windows
XP located under System Tools" well i went to System
Tools and there is no "backup utility"...so i'm pretty
much lost...anymore advice?

but my computer didnt come with the cd that has that on
there...so i'm not sure what to do...it's kind of crappy
that they give you system restore instead of the cd's
now... :/
 
Hi Katie,

If the computer you purchased is from an OEM (from Dell,Compaq etc), they
might not ship the Operating System CD. (only restore cds). In that case,
you can download ntbackup.msi from here:
