Restore question

My client just lost their hard drive but we have been taking backups (using
Windows XP Backup utility) and storing them on the server drive. Till his
replacement hard drive arrives I need to restore one of his folders from a
backup file (.bkf) onto Small Business Server shared folder. However when I
run the restore utility on the server it doesn't let me select his backup
file, only the backup files for the server.

Can anyone clue me in as to how I restore a folder from a backup that is
stored on another system?

Thanks for any assistance on this.

Where is his backup (.bkf) file stored. On the same server? If so, just go
to that folder and double-click on the .bkf file.

Make sure you specify HOW you want the file restore (Overwrite, New
Location, ...)
