Need to return MSCONFIG back to normal

Had a Fatal error during startup. Went through troubleshooter and found the
error to be a service tab error. deselected tab marked "themes" from
microsoft. troubleshooter ended by saying to get ahold of software
manufacturer. How? Not able to start computer in normal mode.
 
Tom, I assume you have typed MSCONFIG on the Start - Run line ?
 
original error was fatal system error c000021a system shutdown. status
0xc0000006
 
I believe that i need to repair or remove the Theme service line but i don't
know how
 
Another option is to start in safe mode,

Go to System Restore and restore to a previous highlited date.
