Need to repair WIN2000 system

My win2000 is messed up. Won't let register any dll or ocxs. When I try to
run any program that reguired reading the registery I get the error "Can't
acess registry." And I am logged in as the administrator. What I need to do
is to do a repair of the WIN2000. How do I do this? Please help.

I've never been able to do a 'repair' to w2k (or any other win OS for
that matter). Suggest you save all critical data files, reformat the
hard drive and reinstall from scratch.
