need to re install xp

I no longer have my XP cd for this PC, put I have another PC's cd. Can I
use the missing cd key to install the XP or can I change the key after I
install. I used Keyfinder to get the key.

You can use the other CD to install with your key *if* the XP CD you have is
*exactly* the same version type as the original install. That is, if both
were identical OEM CDs from the same manufacturer (ex. Dell or Toshiba), or
retail CDs. If the types don't match, the keys won't work.
