Need to delete the last page of my document which contains header.

I'm trying to delete the last page of my document (which is in landscape
form) while the other portion of the document is in portrait form. The
document contains both headers and footers, when I try to delete the last
page which has nothing on it other than the header and footer, the remainder
of the document reverses to landscape and the header and footer is removed.
I've tried to place a section break between the last page of the document
containing information and the blank last page. Any suggestions on what I am
doing wrong?
 
First, try posting this query in the MS Word group. This group is for MS
Access. Try looking at your document with pagination marks on (the button
that looks like a backwards P), you probably have some section type of break.
