I am a new user of Access 2007 and it's driving me crazy.

I want to print a database with header and footer on the pages. The header
will have a title: "Property Owners Association Name, Address, Phone, Email
List." The footer will have "Page x of y Pages" and the date.

I added the Page Header and Footer icon to the toolbar but it's greyed out
and I can't make a header or footer.

What do I do?

Thanks.

I want to print a database with header and footer on the pages.

What is it (within the database) that you are trying to print? The
datasheet view of a table? A form? A report?

As a point of information, while you *can* print a table datasheet
view or a form, neither of these objects were intended, or designed,
to be printed, so your options for controlling how they look when
they are printed are limited or non-existent, and they usually do not
look good when printed.

Reports are designed to be printed, so if you want to have control
over the final output (and you want something that looks professional)
you need to create a report based on the data you want to print.

Thanks but I solved the problem.

Copied and pasted all the columns from Access into a Word document now I can
manipulate the page, headers, footers, etc. much more easily.
