Setting up different headers on different pages

I am using Office 2003. I have two templates that I am using to write some
documents for clients (includes project title, logo etc both in the headers
and footers). I have one document which is half portrait and half landscape.
Actually producing this is no problem but I do not know how to make the
headers and footers different on the portrait pages to the landscape pages
(project title box needs to be wider on the landscape pages and narrower on
the portrait pages).

Hope this makes sense to some because I know there is a way of using
different headers and footers in the one document but I just don't know how
to do it!!!

You're already using Section Breaks in order to get both Portrait and
Landscape in one document. Go to the first header in the second
section and unclick the "Same as Previous" button on the H&F toolbar.
Then change whatever needs changing.

When working with Headers and Footers, it is always easiest to work from the
End of the Document forward, due to a feature called Same As Previous. Same
as Previous makes sure that when you enter a Page Number on page one, that
it continues on all the pages throughout the document, no matter if section
breaks occur on not. I usually turn this off for each section Header and
Footer.

So, go to your Landscape section and open the Header or Footer, look at the
Header/Footer Toolbar. There should be a button (5th from the Right)
called either Same as Previous or Link to Previous, click it to turn this
feature off. Now you should be able to change the tabs and spacing of the
Header and Footer of the Landscape section. Once you get it formatted the
way you want to you use the Next/Previous buttons to move to the next section
and modify those headers/footers

I tried going backwards through a book a couple of times and it wasn't
successful because unexpected things would happen to the sections that
had already supposedly been put to bed. I recommend working forward.
