Blank page at end of report with no page breaks nor margin issues

My report generally runs 8 - 10 pages long with a report header, no page
header, 2 groupings (one with header & footer, second with only header), page
footer and report footer that contains a subreport. There are no page breaks
in the report. I have a blank last page showing up after the report footer
prints on the 2nd last page that contains the page footer only - no other
information. I figured once the report footer printed on page 8 for example,
there should never be a page 9, yet I get one every time and it's really
throwing off my page numbering as the page footer says "Page # of #"
Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Firstly make sure that you are not forcing a new page 'after section'.

Make sure that you don't have any unused 'white space' in either the report
footer or in the subreport. In the former make sure the bottom of the
subreport control is contiguous with the bottom of the footer section in
design view. In the subreport make sure that the controls are where
appropriate contiguous with the bottom of the sections. Any 'white space'
you want to separate records in the subreport should be at the top of the
section, not the bottom, so as to avoid pushing any bottom 'white space'
below the final record over onto an extra page.

If you are shrinking any Null controls remember that any 'white space' above
or below them does not shrink, so make sure that they are contiguous
vertically with the control above, or the top of the section. This will
probably mean setting the height of the controls greater than is necessary
for the font size in use.

Thanks Ken - it was the subreport causing the issue. There was some extra
white space somewhere on it that was causing a second page not when running
