Need the "open or save file" prompt window to come back in IE

A long time ago, I used to click on a link in IE and a
window would prompt me to ask if I want to Open file or
Save file to disk. However, there was a check box in this
window that asked me 'Always ask before opening this type
of file check box is selected'... Somehow I deselected
this checkbox and now I need to this prompt window to
come back... I have played around in the Internet
securities as well as in Options... Advanced to see if
there is a "Download files promt" and I can't seem to
find one.

Does anyone have any ideas to bring back this prompt
window?

Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to the file type in question and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Check the box for "Confirm open after download".
