NEED SOUND DRIVER

Steven Gurry

I have GA K8 Triton series motherboard GBK8NNXP MB. When using windows
xp OS the on board audiocard worked. 6-CH Audio Via AC'97. After
installing XP 64 Bit OS. The 64 XP states the audio driver/Multimedia
Audio controller says " Not intended for this system " I have been
searching for another driver. Does anybody have any clues to help find a
driver for this system. Thank you (e-mail address removed) 10/20/04 1650

Always check you specs before assuming that drivers are present for
windows and linux. Check out.

Does not look good for your soundcard. Good luck.

Planet AMD 64 (http://www.planetamd64.com/) has 64 bit drivers. You
have to register first, but it's not a hassle.

I don't know if the AC'97 sound on that board is unique, but I simply used
the AC'97 Win2003/XP AMD64 OS driver from http://www.realtek.com.tw/

But I installed 64-bit XP Pro beta on a different partition than XP Home
(because the beta will expire in a year).
