Disc Boot Error

Have just finished a fresh reinstall of Windows XP Home Edition. Now when my
computer gets to verifing DMI Pool it ask to boot from CD. When no CD is in
the drive it gives me an error message "Disc Boot Failure. Insert System Disc
And Press Enter". When I insert the original OS disc the computer boots
normaly. Anyone got any idea why?

Basic system specs

Gigibyte K8 Triton Series GA-K8NSC-939
AMD Athlon 64-939
2 Gigs Kingston duel channel DDR400
Nividia FX 5700 LE 256meg
Maxtor Ultra Series DiamondMax 200g ATA133
(divided into 2 partitions. #1 Partition: 20 gig for OS and related
programs. #2 partition: 180 gigs for external programs and D\L's and as a
working drive.

Your boot partition has to set as active. If it isn't you may get this
message.
