Need help with Windows XP Stop code

Just built a new system but I'm using the same HD from a computer in which
the motherboard failed. The drive contains a retail copy of XP Pro.

I had planed to see if the computer would first boot into XP without
attempting a "repair" or clean install.

The system attempts to start XP and after a few seconds a blue screen pops
up with a STOP code of:
0x0000007e 0xc0000005 0xf764c750 0xf78d7430 0xf78d712c

I then decided to try a "repair". The repair got through the first phase but
when it re-booted to continue the installation, I got the same STOP code.

My next step was to reformat the disk but I first wanted to get some
comments & suggestion as to what might be the reason for this stop.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure the video card is seated firmly. Do the same with the ram
modules. Remove and reseat.

Did you supply any needed drivers for the disk controller during that very
early phase when it says on the bottom of the screen "press f6..." when you
did the repair install? If you have a SATA drive you might have to do that
or if you are using a hard drive controller card. I guess one problem here
is that you really need to tell us the make and model of the computer and
the parameters of the computer.

Do a fresh install for best results.
