I need to reformat my computer so if these codes mean anything to you please

Here's some general information about this sort of error:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;330182

You've left out a lot of details such as how exactly you're trying to do the
install, what the problems were that caused you to want to do the clean
install, and what type of computer you have and its hardware specs.
Therefore it's impossible to give you focused help.

In general, problems installing an operating system such as you describe
point to either failing or incompatible hardware.

So in the absence of those important details, I'd say you should test the
hardware. This may involve stripping down to the motherboard and only you
know your level of computer skills. If you can't do the testing yourself
and/or are uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of
BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up
before you take the machine into a shop.
