Need help installing with an external modem

I have an HP T45 and an external modem with a wireless network. I don't
need to share the printer but it would sure be nice to print on it and
receive faxes. Please help?

The T45 can be used as a stand-alone unit and does not need to be
connected to your PC. Just make sure the modem is a 56K modem not
a Broadband or Cable modem, for they do NOT work.
