I'm currently using the HP's all in one scan-print-fax set at my home. It is
connected wirelessly to my wireless network. My printing function for the
terminals are connected via wireless network. Internet connection for my
terminals are done either wireless or cabled to the router to my cable modem.
Fax operation from the HP Photosmart C6180 is done over a connected telephone
cable.

How can i connect fax console from win XP to my HP set?
I don't think i'm able to connect to the fax modem within the HP set.
Alternaltive connection from the HP set to only through usb connection.

That's not how All-in-One devices work. The fax modem of the AIO is
internally connected to its scanner (for outgoing faxes) and printer
(for incoming faxes). You can't use WinXP fax services to send a fax
using this device.

Some AIO devices may come with software that permits you to fax a file
from your computer. Refer to the Users Guide for any software that came
with your AIO.
