I have a D-Link DI-514 wireless router connected to a cable modem. I am
conected to my Laptop via wireless. I want to connect my usb HP printer
to the router. Now this wireless router has cat 5 connections in it
aswell. Is there a cable to go from USB to cat5 that will work, or do I
have to go another way? Thanks for any help.

You can't just connect your USB printer to your network -- it isn't
"network ready." You need a "print server" device. The print server
will have one or more USB ports (and perhaps a parallel port as well).

You can get a "wired" print server, which will have one or more Ethernet
ports. In this case, you would connect an Ethernet port on the print
server with one of the available LAN ports on your router with a length
of cat5 cable.

You also can get a wireless print server. In this case, you would
configure the print server with the necessary info (SSID, encryption
key) to communicate with your wireless router.
