NAS not showing in Network Places

I have a Synology Diskstation NAS (Network Attached Storage) hooked up
to my network. I have added it to my workgroup, but for some reason it
doesn't show up under my Network Places. All other PC's in the network
show up fine.

I can map drives on the NAS and access it via Start -> Run -> \\NAS_disk
(the name of the NAS), and if I use Windows' search function to search
for "\\NAS_disk", it is found, and it says it belongs to the right
workgroup.

What can be wrong?

Any anti-virus software installed on the problematic PC? If yes,
check all / any Internet worm settings (firewall like behaviour.)

Also, you might need to activate the UPNP service.

I have Avast Antivirus, but I can't find any setting about internet worms.

Still, I see the other computers in the workgroup fine, it is just the
NAS that will not show up, so it's probably not a firewall thing (or?).

Already is.
