"Name already exists on the network" error on boot up

Every time I boot my computer, I get this error. It started happening right
after I installed a new hard drive and used Norton Ghost to transfer data
from the old drive. I kept the old drive as a secondary slave. Now I can't
get rid of this message. Its a real nuisance.

I connect to the internet via a Linksys wireless router, but the home
network is a small one (usually only 1 or 2 computers connected at a time).

Anyone know what to do?

Change one of the computer's name.

Right-click My Computer
Left-click Properties
Left-click the Network Identification tab
At the top you will see where you can change the name
Change the name
Click OK
Reboot

If that doesn't work let me know and I'll type it up for you.

Thanks, Shawn. I know about that. I guess my original question was a bit
vague. I have only one computer and I want it to retain its name (not only
because I'm used to it, but because the other computers on the router have
acces through that name). After installing the new drive, though, it says a
duplicate exists and I can't find the duplictae. If I could, I'd gladly
delete it or change its name, but I can't. Any further thoughts?

If there is no warning while off-line, reset the router or clear its DHCP
page; looks like it doesn't re-register the name, otherwise fix winsocks.
