my XP

My PC crashed a couple of days ago and it won't let me
reload my Windows XP. When i load it, it will only go so
far then the screen goes blank and I have to start over.
The olny thing that I can put into it is Windows 98se. I
need help reloading it.

unplug all extras except keyboard mouse and monitor, make
sure your boot from cdrom in bios other than that not
sure what i can do to help good luck
