dual boot xp w/bing

Want to set up dual boot independent OS's on two different drives using
Bootitng (so far no one has been able/willing to provide a good reply).

Been advised that XP demands/requires placing files on Drv0 Part 1 to
install.

But I want to install XP on drv1 and hide it from Drv0

Here is my setup.

98se on C: Drv0 nearly full has Bootitng on it's own partition (standard
4 partition setup)

Data on Drv1

Here is my plan, let me know what you think, or if easier way to do it.

1) Put new blank fat32 formated drive with 98se boot files on it (sys c:
d:) system files added via usb/adapter and sys command.

2) Take out drv0 with 98se on it and replace temporarily with new blank
drive. Boot using system files on new blank drv0. Install XP as sole OS.
Removed drv0 which now has XP on it and place in drv1 position(making
sure it is set as secondary). Place 98se drive in Drv0 position (set as
primary)

3) boot to bootitng maintenance, hide boot partitions for drv0/98se and
drv1/xp from each other using bootitng. Add necessary boot items to
menu.

I should now have a dual boot system, 98se on drv0, XP on drv1
independent of each other (hidden) and bootable from the bootitng boot
menu, correct?

Any useful answers most welcomed. Thanks.

Why not ask in a dedicated BING newsgroup?

Terabyte's news server is on terabyteunlimited.com, and the port number
to use is 1198 (not the usual 119).
