my remote keyboard doesn't work-how do I fix

This is a hardware question--but maybe someone knows the answer. I have a
wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard. Keyboard has quit working. Any
suggestions how to troubleshoot?
 
(1) Check the batteries in the keyboard.

(2) Check the batteries in the transmitter.

(3) Hit the reset button in both.
