Text scrolls off screen while typing.

I have this frequent problem with Word 2007 on my desktop compunter with
Vista Ultimate: I'm typing along in Word, I reach the end of a line
and--boom--suddenly Word scrolls up a page and what I'm typing is no longer
visible. I have to grab the mouse and scroll down to make the insertion bar
and new text visible again.

I have a Microsoft Wireless keyboard and mouse, and I never hit the "Enter"
key or touch the mouse. Here's what's odd: it only happens when I reach the
end of a line. It (It doesn't happen every time, though.) It's very annoying.

I've checked for the latest keyboard drivers and have the latest video
drivers, but this doesn't fix the problem. I can't imagine it's my
mouse/keyboard sending a "page up" signal since it only happens when I'm
nearing the end of a line, something my keyboard/mouse couldn't possibly know.

Any suggestions?

This is what I think is happening: I'm typing a word at the end of the line
that will go past the right margin. The instant I type the letter that takes
it across the margin, Word shifts the whole word down onto the next line. (As
it should.)

However, instead of scrolling the text upward so that I can see where I am
now typing, Word sometimes seems to get confused and scrolls a full page
backwards--or sometimes it just doesn't scroll at all, and my moved word is
simply no longer visible, but is sitting in the imaginary space an inch or so
below the monitor.

If I keep typing, nothing is seen, but the text is being dutifully added,
just as I typed it. I have to manually scroll the area up onto the screen to
see it, though.
