My Music Folder

I've just seen my friends new laptop and when she created new folders for
her " My Music Folder", photographs/pictures of the artists appeared
automatically! For example she created a new folder for her Elvis collection
and a picture of the King appeared on the outside of the folder.

It seemed to have been downloaded and installed automatically. I know I can
change the photographs on the folders but was amazed that this could somehow
be done automatically.

We both use Windows XP home - is there a program which does this for her?

The "magic" is a combination of things.

First, the folder was customized as a music folder. To explore available
folder templates: Create a new folder. Then right on it and select
Properties. Click the Customize tab. Choose the template type from the drop
down list.

In these same properties sheets the user can assign an image to the folder.
But if you move over into your Media Player settings (Tools> Options), you
can select to have Media Player automatically search online for info
(including Album Art) about the media files/folders in your library.
