My headfones dont take away the sounds from my laptop.

Hi when i put in my headfones in my laptop it should turn off the sound from
laptop atomatic, but it dont. When i put in the headfones i gets sound from
both headfones and from laptop, really problem for the people who is working
around me... What can i do? Any sugestions? Ty for all answer...

Are you certain that the headphone plug jack is fully inserted into the
jack on the laptop?

Have to tried another headphone?

This is most likely a hardware problem, so you should contact the laptop
maker's support.
