My downloads

My XPpro computer came with a folder called c:\my downloads.
Is that a XP standard folder or can I dump it?
Its empty and I put my downloaded programs elsewhere but not sure if its
needed by some root XP program.

Hi Shakey,

Yes it can be deleted. If needed it's easy enough to
recreate.

As Bert said. In addition, some third-party download accelerators might be using the C:\Mydownloads as the default download path.

My Downloads is not a special folder in XP, and can be deleted safely.
