While web browsing using Internet Explorer, my computer will not download. When I right click a link, and save as, the File Download window comes up but freezes, and it will not download. Sometimes the window where you can name the file comes up, but it still will not download. What should I do? Is it something wrong with my computer or internet explorer. I tried using realplayer as a web browser, but I still could not download. It seems as if it locks up just as it starts to download. I can download using a file sharing program but not from a direct link on a web page. PLEASE HELP!

Seeing that you can download using filesharing, we can assume that there is
no real issue with your PC. The problem seems to reside within Internet
Explorer. The only issue I can think of off-hand, is that your security
settings may be set too high. Try opening IE, click on Tools>Security> Is it
set to Internet? If it is set higher, then there lies your problem. Relax
the settings to Internet, and try to download. GL
