My Computer Display

Default for Windows XP creates a display of "System
Tasks", "Other Places", etc. in the left pane when My
Computer opens up. My Computer's "Folders" toolbar button
provides the ability to change the left pane to show a
classic directory, drive,& folder tree display. Toolbar
button works as a toggle. I would like to have the
classic directory display be the display that opens when
My Computer is opened, rather than the current reverse
situation. Does anyone know how to accomlish this? Thanks.

Create a shortcut for Explorer.exe. Change the Target line to read:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,

The comma at the end of the line should be included. Place the shortcut
someplace handy. I keep mine in my Quick Launch toolbar.

NOTE: Try Windows Key +E, it should accomplish the same thing.
