My brain is going! (PC 2 Laptop)

I want to connect my PC to my Laptop.
Do i use a cross-over or straight through cable?
I seem to have forgotten everything from A+!

Computer -> Switch/Router -> Computer = Standard UTP Cable

Computer -> Computer = X-Over UTP Cable
