Mute sound when screensaver starts or workstation is locked

Hiho,

Is there a way to automatically mute the sound if the screensaver
starts and/or the workstation is locked?

That would be awesome,

Check the screensaver settings you are using. Many have a "No sound"
button you can select. It all depends on what YOU are using, it is not
a general/magic button. If necessary, you set your speakers to Mute,
and that will eliminate all sound.
