RE: Google Gadgets (4)

I want to download and install a Music Player from Google:

Item: Music Player
Author: Google Inc.
Size: 75KB
License: Freeware
Version: 1.0.1.0
Date: Dec 19, 2006

The problem? The Music Player requires the Google desktop. I set up my own
desktop and have been using my desktop for a long time. I do not want
anybody else's desktop (and use what the person THINKS I need).

It seems that the Music Player is a program and normally would not require a
special desktop to run.

I would download and install the Music Player but I am afraid the program
would automatically install Google's desktop. Is there any way I could stop
this tragedy (the installation of the desktop) from occurring?

Thank you,

Why would one install a music or video player from google....Thier is no
way it would come close to windows media player, microsoft has built up its
players for the last 20-25 yrs.Plus, even though you think a player & a
desktop
is all youre installing but really they will stuff youre pc with other 3rd
party &
thier software that has nothing to do with either....
