Hi, I have problems trying to access my music folder, this happened after i
downloaded a mp3 file from the net, i got the message about DEP (data
execution prevention)i ran Norton antivirus and everything sems ok,
i ran checkdisk and no problems found, I have windows xp pro sp2,
I tried to acces sit from the command prompt (cmd) I got access it but when
i execute DIR> it closes the application and returns to desktop, and same
thing happens with any program that needs access to my music folder, like wmp
and any media player.
I would like to know what's going on,

Are you able to access the folder from safe mode?
Does the Event log provide any clue, especially about the DEP error?
