Hi guys. I have found the root of my problem, but i dont
know how to fix it. The story is as follows

When i install my AGP drviers for my computer, the system
would hang on the Windows XP loading screen. I booted in
safe mode instead of normal mode, and the boot would stop
at the file mup.sys. I have looked on the internet for
solutions but i can not seem to find any. My motherbored
is a SiS 648. I think it could have something to do with
the USB, but i am unsure. I have tried installing
different versions of the AGP drivers and also the USB
drivers, but ti did not help. I have also tried
installing Windows XP PRO as a fresh installion, but
still it has the same error. Please help me!

Install the AGP driver from the manufacturer of the AGP board, not the
driver included with Windows or downloaded from Microsoft.

mup.sys is the last file that gets loaded, so is most likely not the
source of the trouble, which is happening as the system initialises.
Some driver is in trouble. And I'd suspect those AGP drivers. Although
Safe Mode uses basic drivers everywhere, these may nevertheless be
getting in on the act.

It is tricky if you cannot get even into Safe mode, but I think the best
course in the first instance is try a boot to the menu to 'Safe Mode
Command Prompt' and see if that will load up. If so, run the command
C:\Windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
which loads the system restore program and if that makes it, use it to
restore to a point made before you installed them
