Ever since I got broadband from this computer I haven't been able to have two
users logged in at once. The first user will log in and everything will be
fine, but then the second user will try to log in and it takes a very long
time to log in and the computer freezes almost everytime and I have to
restart the computer. The computer is less than a year old and I was
wondering if you could help me with this problem.

It is most likely that you do not have anough memory in your computer.
Broadband take up a portion of the memory, like any network connections,
and too little memory can cause your computer to hang when you try to
switch user. Try upgrading the RAM to 256 MB, or better yet, 512 MB.

What sort of broadband modem/router do you have? USB, Ethernet, Wireless?
Are you running a straight forward peer to peer network ie there is no
server?
Do you mean user switching ie one user is logged in and you want someone
to *switch* to another user id.
I must admit, I stopped using the switching facility and now actively
prohibit it because it was always slow.
