Multiple Account Message Rules - Need EXPERT help

I upgraded from Office 2000 on my old computer to 2003 on a new computer and
imported my message rules from Outlook v2000.

Most of my working message rules from v2000 did not import properly in
v2003, so I have modified them where needed.

However, I am experiencing extreme difficulty in getting my MOST IMPORTANT
rules set up to work -- the rules for my multiple email accounts. The rules
won't "apply" and after I set them up or modify them for the appropriate
email account , they revert to a different email account once I leave the
rules wizard.

The only thing I can think of is there must be some limit on how many
account rules you can have going at one time in Outlook 2003 -- but this was
not a problem in v2000.

I have been using rules to manage my email for years. I know another option
is to set up specific words in the recipient address as a rule alternative,
but that option doesn't work right with the countless emails I get on each of
several accounts as there are multiple list mails and I'd have to set up a
rule for each of those, which is more time consuming than a simple "if it
comes thorough X account, move it here" type rules.

Here is how the rule reads:

Apply this rule after message arrives
Through the MAIL ONE account
And on this machine only (you cannot remove this setting)
Move it to MAIL ONE folder

I set up this exact same rule for all 9 email accounts. This rule worked in
v2000 without the 3rd line above but in v2003, the 3rd liine is added
automatically. Only 3 of the rules work. All rules appear to be exactly
alike except for the "account" name and folder to move to.

The last piece of useful information I can provide is that the version I am
using is the student edition. We used this version to upgrade because our
daughter is a student and lives in the household. Our version allows
installation on up to 3 machines. I have only installed on two machines so
far and now regret upgrading as these important rule settings do not work in
the new version.

Yes and still only 3 of 9 mail account rules accept the "account", the others
revert to a different email account when I exit the wizard - where I use okay
or apply, and whether or not I exit Outlook. I thought about reinstalling
Office, but I'm afraid to reinstall the Office 2003 for fear of losing all my
settings that I've already set up.
