hey dudes!

i downloaded msn messenger from microsoft website about 4 days ago and installed it. only wen i try to sign in to it it says:

we are unable to sign u in to .net messenegr service, possibly because of a problem with the service or with ur internet connection. please make sure that u r connected to the internet.
click the help button to check the current .net service status.
RETRY CANCEL HELP

i click help and it says the service is fine. my internet connection is also fine as i can surf the web alrite.

i then uninstalled 6.2 and installed v6.0 from oldversion.com, that doesnt connect either, it has the same error message. i then tried v5.0 and that doesnt work either.

i can connect to windows messenger though, but i want my msn messenegr back

anyone got any ideas?

Thank you

Daisy

HI, I had the same problem, so did my dad. Issue is not with Messenger but
with Passport. All you need to do is follow the prompts and verify your
email address associated with your Microsoft.NET passport. Wait for the
resulting email and you will be fine.
