when trying to sign into msn 7.5 or wm on my computer i get a message
like>you cannont use msn messenger at this time cause your contact list is
not available.The weird thing is that my friends have no troubles signing in
using my computer...Just me..
So its been 2 days now with several reboots,and even deleting msn 7.5 and
rehinstalling it did not work...I have no problems connecting to the net or
even accessing my email......I'm really confused about this and i hope
someone can help me out
thanks

Can you connect from *other* systems? If not, reinstalling software will
not help. Your basic internet service and email are unrelated services,
except that they indicate that your sytem functions.

IIRC, the contact list is stored on the server, which is why you can see it
from any system. So you'd need to contact the MSN messenger support about
problems related to their servers, your account and your contact list.

In short, the problem likely isn't caused by anything you've done and can't
be fixed by much you can do. It's a server problem, it isn't the first
time it's happened, and it likely is affecting more people than just you.
