MSN e-mail?

How can you tell if e-mail you receive is valid? The e-mail address is
"(e-mail address removed)" and it wants me to click a link confirming my
e-mail address because I've had trouble signing in(that's true).

You can get a good indication from the email headers, but unless it's
digitally signed it's not easy to be sure an email is valid. However, it is
easier to check out the web link on offer. If it really is in the
microsoft.com domain, it's presumably authentic. Beware disguised urls, such
as those which include a long string of spaces with the real target domain
at the end.

Can Windows culture be changed?
