I cannot install any programs requiring Microsoft Software Installer. I
have installed and uninstalled 3.01v2, to no avail. I cannot even
download any Microsoft updates. This version was supposed to fix a
problem with 3.0v1, but it hasn't. Doing a restore does not solve the
problem. I also have the installer pop-up when I start some programs,
especially MS Office. Anyone have similar problems or any solutions?
