msconfig - startup tab

I have XP Home, while in the "System Configuration
Utility" and on the "Startup" tab....mine does not show
any check marks in the check boxes, even when all items
are selected which makes it impossible to tell if the
program is set to load at startup or not.

How can I get it to show the check marks?
