msblaster update patch

I have a computer running XP that is infected with the
blaster worm.I downloaded the patch but cannot get it to
install.Keep getting error [setup could not verify the
integrity of the file update.inf.Make sure the
cryptographic service is running on this computer.]I have
checked the service and it is running.Can any one give me
input as to why this is happening and how to fix it?
