Hi

MS Word desktop shortcut icon has disappeared. How do I retrieve it? It is
not in All Programs although it was installed and has been fine for a year
or more.

Can't you just create another shortcut? If the program itself has
disappeared, you have a serious problem which may require lots and lots of
work to fix.

Has your desk cleanup wizard ran recently. Try from the Start button>All
Programs>Microsoft Office, is there a shortcut there and if so can you start
Word.
