MS Word 2003...no longer supported?

S

Sylvia M

I'm running Microsoft Office 2003 on my 2005 XP Media Center (HP).
I'm using their Microsoft Office Word, for .doc s.
Until a couple of months ago, I could hit 'help' and type in a couple of key
words now and then. More recently, I get a pop-up saying that I don't have
Word 2007...and no further access to Help, (like when I forgot how to make
my typing come out in landscape)

Was there a Microsoft 'update' that did this to me?
Which one, so I can uninstall it?

TIA

It works for me, Sylvia - although I have 2003 and XP Home rather than Media
Centre. Did you at any time download and later remove a trial of the 2007
version?

Never. However I do let MS download updates at it's pleasure.
That's why I thought it was the likely culpret.

Do you update regularly? If so, then that's not my solution :-(
Any other solution out there?

I'm afraid I do. But I don't floss, if that makes you feel any better. ;-)

If you have the disk, I suppose you could remove and re-install MS Office.
Is your version updated to SP2 etc? If you don't update regularly, you could
try visiting
