MS Visual c++ Runtime error

When I click on the Outlook Icon, the program starts, and then I get an error
message: "MS Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error. Outlook.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

It was close. It turned out to be a Norton Spam program, installed with
(add-in) Outlook. As soon as it was deleted, Outlook returned to normal.
