MS PowerPoint07 won't run on emachine 3650

I don't have the full version of PowerPoint, just the FREE download Viewer.

If I remember correctly, it all started after a Microsoft update was
installed, but I have no idea which one.

PowerPointViewer 2003 won't play sound (files open fine).
PowerPointViewer 2007 won't run. It installs okay but when I
go to open it, its say it only runs on XP,2000,Vista,

I'm running XP SP2 Home edition.

I've removed PP'03, rebooted, turned off my Anti Virus program. PP'07
installs
okay, but when I go to open it I get the message that it only works with
XP,2000,Vista?

You might try Microsoft Power Point Viewer 97 which still runs on most all
Windows versions and without problems. I am running Win XP Pro SP3 with it
and have no problems. I had problems with later versions and went back to
Viewer 97.

Recommend that you uninstall all current installed versions prior to
installing MPPV 97.
