MS Outlook not responding

Hi,

I just got a new laptop with Vista Business and loaded MS Outlook 2007.
I launch the program and sign in when I try to click on anything I get a [
Not Responding ]. It will recover after 30 seconds try it again same issue.
I’ve reinstalled
Any thoughts anyone.

In Windows Mail, highlight Microsoft Communities, on the Menu bar (ALT if not
visible), Tools, select Newsgroups, type outlook in Display newsgroups that
contains: box at the top of the window

I had the same problem. I discovered I couldn't use Outlook at all and have
to use the Internet Mial that came with Vista. After using it for awhile, I
have not noticed a difference with Outlook.

Since the OP is posting with that awful CDO interface he would need to insert the appropriate Outlook group into his browsers address bar to access that group

Alternatively he can do the following by replacing the group you listed above by replacing the group name after microsoft.public like below. And then opening the link to the group he wants to post to,
