Windows XP pro with service pack 3 (build 2600), Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 hz,
3584 Megabytes installed memory.
Office Standard 2007
When sending/receiving with Office 2007, I get both sending and receiving
errors of (0X8007000E): “Out of memory or system resources. Close some
windows or programs and try again.â€
Under “Account Settingsâ€, “Change email Settingsâ€, “Test Account Settings…â€,
I get green checkmarks and “All tests completed successfullyâ€. The test
message goes out and is received on my laptop.
Outlook Express gives a “The connection to the server has failed. Account:
“pop1and1.com’, Server: “mail.charter.netâ€, protocol: SMTP, Port 25, Secure
(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number 0x800CCCOE. My Outlook Express
does not have any saved mail or contacts.
All other programs seem to work fine. Outlook seems fine except for the
send/receive function.
Both Outlook 2007 and Outlook Express work fine on my laptop with the same
settings.
Both of my email accounts (1and1 and Charter) have the same error – for both
sending and receiving.
This started after getting an error message saying something about going to
control panel and clicking on mail and fixing the data files.
I’ve tried removing my large .pst file.
I’ve run Norton internet security scan and Advanced WindowsCare searching
for virus’ and other ware problems– no change.
I’ve tried only downloading headers – same error.
I’ve emptied my email via webmail and laptop (outlook and outlook express)
so there are no big files in there.
I’ve run repair with the Office CD – no change.
I’ve removed and reloaded office – no change.
