MS Office Word has encountered a problem

Whenever I sign into an Office product, Word gives me the message MICROSOFT
OFFICE WORD HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. Then it wants to
send a report (which I say okay to), restores Word files and automatically
opens Word even if I'm opening Outlook or Excel. Since this problem started
I cannot access my printer from any program even for a screen print. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the HP driver for the printer (several times).
The ERROR SIGNITURE on the report is as follows:

The problem indicated is with your HP printer driver. Try deleting and
reinstalling the printer (with an updated driver if one is available).
