Word hangs

When I open a *.dot document en i start typing I get an error like
AppName: winword.exe AppVer: 11.0.5604.0 AppStamp:3f314a2
ModName: mssp3nl.dll ModVer: 3.0.7.2 ModStamp:3efb23e
fDebug: 0 Offset: 00008c4
Would you send a report

This document is made in Word97. Office is updated from office 97 to office 2003. I tried different printers as default but no result. Please help

The problem seems to be in your Dutch spelling checker, so you might want to
post in microsoft.public.word.spelling.grammar.
