MS Anti-Spyware Definitions

I was able to install Microsoft Anti-Spyware from a USB Pen Drive to a
computer that is not able to connect to the Internet, but I am not able to
update to version 5795 of the definitions. Is there a file that I can
transfer to this computer with the new definitions or should I download the
install file again since the install file I used is from an earlier release
of the software?

Hello Alex,

Try this sugestion by Mikolaj Kaminski:

Please clean the temporary folders (usually C:\Documents and
Settings\username\local settings\temp and c:\Documents and
Settings\username\local settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 and
delete all the files in those directories and subdirectories).

There is a manual update procedure. Follow these steps:

Right click on MSAS icon within systray and choose shutdown.

Right click and "Save target as..."

Copy/paste these files to Program files/Microsoft Antispyware

Restart MSAS and "check for updates"

If the http:// does not work, try https:// instead..
